I am a lifelong author, technical writer, and professional researcher who recently found God (yes He is real!) through a long, lonely, and painful journey. As a new believer, I had many questions, for which I struggled to find answers. I was not raised in the church and I knew no one personally who knew anything about it. I searched in vain for believers or pastors my age, that were really in tune with modern times, and could speak in a way that would help me understand and stay engaged. Plus, as a working mother with limited time, I needed quality, not quantity.
Unfortunately for me, it was a struggle in order to find my way to God. I had to spend years doing my own research, studying the Bible, listening to countless videos, and attending many churches. Eventually, through the grace of God, I was able to find the answers I needed. I also learned very much in a short time and I feel that I’ve been called to teach and counsel. I’m here to share my knowledge and experiences with the world, in hopes that I can help others along their spiritual journey.
My goal is for this blog site to be more of a conversation than a one way communication. There are still topics today that are controversial among the church, and I think it’s best if we tackle these with love and an open mind by sharing feedback, ideas, stories, and questions with each other.
